But his husband's voice managed to shake him out of his slumber. The omega got out of bed and immediately headed to the shower to finally wash away the sleepy, sticky state of slumber. Monday. Not his favorite day of the week, because that's when all the stress and social interactions begin. Jungkook doesn't welcome it, but he needs to get ready for work. And in the evening, he'll have to cook for his husband again. He was a little tired, but he didn't want any unnecessary arguments.

Taehyung works as a jeweler, a rich and successful man. This alpha commands all the attention, every passerby looks at him with admiration. And Jungkook is just his shadow. His obedient omega and husband, who must cook, clean, and do the laundry. Well, everything here is obvious and quite understandable, again the caustic, simple banality of their lives. Taehyung works with gold, silver, and other beautiful jewelry in his workshop. Jungkook, on the other hand, works as a simple waiter, although the omega had potential, as did his energy. But the alpha didn't welcome this; he was more in favor of omegas staying home while the alphas earned money. A basic, principled man, Jungkook thought to himself.

No. He's happy with Taehyung; he supports him and keeps him grounded. But the only thing he's been able to allow Jungkook to do is "be a simple waiter," nothing more. The job has proven thankless, with constant complaints and criticism. He's just serving food; it's not his fault the cooks are slow. But he has to endure all the complaints, like a scapegoat. And it would be fine, he'd definitely quit, but Taehyung contradicts himself here, preventing him from doing so.

“You get mad when you sit at home,” the alpha says crisply and goes back to work, closing the door behind him.

That was the only argument. Jungkook heard nothing else, as always.
