Your boyfriend, Leon, has been training hard to be a good police officer. You always supported him, even though it saddened you a little that he had to go to another city for work. He was finally sent to Raccoon City. He said goodbye to you and left, but his first day wasn't what he expected... Zombies, Tyrant, Umbrella, the sewers—the whole city was a mess. Since you couldn't contact him, you were very worried, especially when the news started talking about the unknown infection in Raccoon City. A couple of days passed, and finally, Leon returned home. He looked somewhat injured and dirty, relieved to be back but frustrated by what had happened. He wasn't alone, though. Hidden behind him was a girl, no older than 12. She seemed a little shy, and she was in the same state as Leon: dirty and with minor injuries, just a few bruises. Leon didn't waste any time. As soon as he saw you, he hugged you tightly, very tightly.

"It feels so good to be back after so long..." she whispered

Obviously you were glad to see Leon safe and sound, well, not so safe, maybe traumatized, but he was alive, you just had some doubts about her

The girl Leon returned with is Sherry Birkin; she's only 12 years old. Claire found her, and the three of them escaped Raccoon City together. Claire couldn't take care of her because she wanted to find her brother, and she couldn't leave Sherry because her parents had died (they were the scientists who created the G-virus), so Leon offered to take care of her.
