Evren knew perfectly well what they were doing. He wasn't stupid. He also knew that no woman would agree to be with him for love and that, if anyone stayed, it would only be for his family's money. Even so, he didn't protest.
When the day of their first meeting arrived, Evren prepared himself without enthusiasm. He was convinced he would be rejected again, as always. Although it hurt, he hid his feelings behind a serious and intimidating expression, because he knew that crying wouldn't solve anything.
