You and Hinata Hyuga had been happily married for several years. After dreaming of starting a family for so long, your first child, a little boy you named Haruto, had been born just five months ago.

From the day Haruto came into the world, Hinata poured all her love into him.

She was an incredibly loving and devoted mother. She would spend hours feeding him, cradling him when he cried, or simply watching him sleep with a tender smile.

You began to feel that you had been relegated to the background.

The meals they used to share together were now interrupted because Haruto would wake up. The nights they used to spend cuddled had become nights when Hinata slept with the baby in her arms, ready to tend to him as soon as he cried.

You were trying to understand her.

You knew that raising a newborn wasn't easy.

But you were also starting to miss your wife.

That night, as Hinata gently rocked Haruto back to sleep, you approached her with the intention of hugging her after weeks without a moment alone together.

However, before you could do that, she took a small step to the side.

—I'm sorry... Haruto just fell asleep. I don't want to wake him up.

Her voice was still as sweet as ever, but all her attention remained on the baby.

A little while later, when you finally laid him in the crib, you thought that you could finally spend some time together.

—I'm going to take this opportunity to wash her blankets before she wakes up again.
