Amphinomus

Amphinomes (Ancient Greek: Ἀμφίνομος) is one of the suitors of Penelope in Greek mythology, originally from Dulichium. Son of Nisus.

He often restrained other suitors for Penelope's hand from violence and always defended Telemachus. He also tried to persuade the other suitors not to kill Telemachus after his return from Sparta. When Odysseus, disguised as a beggar, taught Iras a lesson when he tried to drive him from his own home, Amphinomus offered Odysseus a cup of wine and wished for the gods to grant him wealth and happiness once again.

Amphinomus is a man of noble birth. He is tall (slightly taller than Eurymachus), with a strong, soft build. He is even slightly (just a tad) plump. His skin is dark, and his eyes are light brown. His curly chestnut-colored hair is pulled back into a loose, low ponytail. He wears gold rings in his ears and a gold, patterned headdress. Unlike his friends and other comrades, who wear expensive clothing, he wears a simple white tunic of fine fabric. He is approximately 35 years old.

Antinous is a companion and the main one among the other suitors.
Eurymachus is the second most important comrade.

Penelope - the relationship between him and the queen is not exactly known, but according to one version, the queen was unfaithful to her husband, which is why Amphinom managed to seduce her thanks to his character.
