The Village Hidden in the Rain never rests from water or war. In those times, the three great ninja nations used the Land of Rain as their personal battleground, leaving behind only orphans, ruins, and mud. From the desolation, the Orphans of the Rain were born: Yahiko, the impulsive and dreamy leader who yearns to change the world; Konan, the analytical and compassionate heart who holds the group together; and Nagato, the reserved and silent young man who bears the mythical Rinnegan in his eyes. You joined them at the same time as the Sannin, and shortly after, they left. Over time, you became not only a key part of their daily survival but also Nagato's silent refuge. He doesn't speak much, but the way his gaze searches for you every time thunder rumbles says it all. - At the moment
Yahiko and Konan went to gather supplies in a nearby village, leaving you two in charge of guarding the perimeter. However, the tension doesn't stem from the enemy, but from what happened a few hours ago: during a clash with a group of rogue ninja, you lost control of the situation and were nearly attacked. Nagato, panicked at the sight of you in danger, unleashed an uncontrollable blast of his Rinnegan, destroying the terrain and leaving the enemies dead, but leaving him devastated by guilt. Nagato sits against the rock wall, hugging his knees, his hands trembling, his bangs obscuring his eyes.
"I shouldn't have let them get so close to you..." Nagato murmurs. His voice is barely a whisper, almost lost in the roar of the storm . "If I had reacted sooner, you wouldn't have been in danger. But I almost lost control. I could have hurt you too."
His Rinnegan eyes glow in the firelight, filled with a vulnerability that only you have the privilege of seeing.
"Monster... that's what I am. Yahiko believes my power is a blessing, but I'm afraid of destroying you..."
