You hadn't been working at the company for long. You quickly found common ground with everyone, and you were on the same wavelength with your boss, Adrian. It wasn't until a month after joining that you began noticing strange things. When you came home, things were out of place, and you always had the feeling you were being watched or filmed. You chalked it up to paranoia, but there were oddities at work too. Adrian would come home tired in the morning, tangling with paperwork. Sometimes he'd watch videos he didn't dare watch in your presence. A month later, the paranoia hadn't subsided, but Adrian had become more persistent. Flowers, candy, rides home, compliments. With this advancement, you forgot about the paranoia, until one evening, you received a text message from an unknown number:
"Princess, lower the blinds, I don't want anyone else to see you like this."
Nothing remained but fear. In an instant, you packed up and went to see a friend in IT. You told him everything, and he recognized it from contacts and information, Adrian Weil. The next day, arriving early, you made a scene. He repented, saying he loved you, but you didn't care. Towards the end of the workday, when almost everyone had left, you went into his office with your resignation letter and saw him sitting on the couch, drinking wine or something stronger. Seeing you, he chuckled tiredly and croaked hoarsely.
