Squirrel (Tubaoshu employee) Appearance: A nimble forest squirrel with a fluffy tail, adapted to modern realities, lively and energetic. Personality: Hardworking, fussy, diligent, and a little anxious. Working for Tubaoshu requires her to constantly run around and carry out orders; she tries to strictly follow her boss's instructions, although the crazy nature of other mythical beasts constantly throws her work into chaos.

Taotie Appearance: One of the dragon's sons, a voracious beast with a formidable mythological anatomy, who in everyday life takes on a comical and amusing appearance. Personality: He suffers from delusions of grandeur, imagining himself a great actor demanding huge fees for roles, but after failures, he returns to the humble realities of life.

The Jue Brothers (Jinjiao and Yinjiao / Gold and Silver) Appearance: Former heavenly officials reduced to the status of commoners in the mortal world, retaining the graceful features of the noble beasts of the past. Personality: Somewhat hurt by their demotion, but quickly adapting to the human way of life, pragmatic and humorous in everyday life.

Qilin Appearance: A traditional Chinese sacred animal with scales, deer antlers, and a lion's tail. In the cartoon, it is depicted in a softer, cartoonish style with vibrant coloring. Personality: Noble, wise, and brings good luck to those around it. It strives to maintain neutrality and calm even in the most absurd situations, serving as a peacemaker among eccentric spirits.

Zhanhu is the tiger of the war god Chi Yu. Appearance: A large, incredibly furry white tiger with massive paws. He always wears a red bridle on his back, and bells are tied to his enormous tail. He has congenital heterochromia (his right eye is gold, his left is blue). Personality: Loyal and warlike, but at heart very kind. He has searched for his missing master for centuries and is willing to undertake any feat for him.

Diting is an important official, the head of the Underworld. Appearance: A majestic being (formerly the Bodhisattva's steed), in the human world he often appears in a formal business suit with an elegant hairstyle. Personality: A stern, cold workaholic obsessed with deadlines and reports. He manages the souls of the dead and constantly tries to restore order to the bureaucracy between Heaven and Earth.

Fuzai is a Japanese Inari fox. Appearance: A small, neat fox with clean fur and intelligent eyes. Personality: Intelligent, polite, and well-mannered. She accidentally got separated from her tour group and ended up at a bench. She's crazy about tofu and boba tea.

Hetao / Magic Nut (Hetao) is a young leopard beast of Mengzi. Appearance: A small spotted leopard cub with two long tails. Personality: A timid, vulnerable, and gentle child. Possesses the magical ability to penetrate other people's dreams and cleanse them of nightmares. Loves sweets and comfort.

Other inhabitants (Blue Bird, Ditin, Bing Ao, monster cat) Appearance: Zoomorphic hybrids and spirits borrowed from the "Book of Mountains and Seas". Personality: Each of them reflects their own mythological trait: some keep order, some run secret bars for evil spirits, and some suffer from progress and loneliness in the metropolis.

Dijiang (Dijiang) Appearance: An ancient, chaotic creature with no eyes or ears, resembling a plump red sac with wings. Personality: Very naive, guileless, and touching. His vulnerability and gentleness add drama and deep affection to the story.

Tubaoshu (Tubaoshu) Appearance: A white mythical mongoose (or ferret) with a pinkish tint on her paws and ears. Her eyes are almost always closed in a sly or contented smile. She wears red beaded earrings with tassels. Personality: Calculating, businesslike, and self-serving. She has the unique ability to spit real gemstones and pearls from her mouth on demand, which is why Tianlu constantly tries to use her as an "infinite ATM."

Bajin and Erliang (Bajin & Erliang) Appearance: Two unusual little round creatures—half-breed brothers (a cross between a dragon and a cat). They look like fluffy cat balls with tiny dragon horns, wings, and tails. One is gray-blue, the other white and yellow. Personality: They are sneaky, cunning, and comical. They work in Sibusian's shop, but also spy for the Heavenly Court, which leaves them constantly torn between duty and loyalty to their friends.

Bing Ao (Bing Ao) Appearance: A stern and majestic figure with a cold, distant expression, reflecting his water/ice nature. Personality: Serious, reserved, and at times stern. He has a hard time adapting to the hustle and bustle of the modern mortal world, but possesses a strong sense of duty and honor.

Tuye (Lord Rabbit / Tony): The Jade Moon Rabbit, who in ancient times descended to Earth to cure humanity of a terrible epidemic. In modern times, he has become a successful, incredibly wealthy businessman. Appearance: An elegant anthropomorphic white rabbit, always impeccably dressed in expensive, stylish suits. Personality: Eccentric, narcissistic, generous, and madly in love with Sibusian. He is willing to spend exorbitant sums, sponsor the Luren shop, and go to any lengths to win the attention and favor of "Boss Four."

Bise is Tianlu's older twin brother, also a member of the Pixiu clan. Unlike his brother, his mission is not to attract money, but to exorcise evil spirits and protect against dark forces. Appearance: Almost identical to Tianlu in nature, but with his own distinctive features (including an ear that was torn in ancient times). He has long hid in the shadows. Personality: A more mysterious, serious, and reserved character than his eccentric brother. He prefers to act discreetly, appearing when others are sleeping, but is always ready to protect his family.

Tianlu (Pipi / Pixiu) is an ancient mythical beast of the first generation, Pixiu, who attracts wealth. He escaped from annoying people and went to work for his old friend Sybusian in exchange for food and shelter. Personality: Greedy for gold, gluttonous and hot-tempered, but at heart very simple-minded, loyal and vulnerable. Constantly hungry, as he feeds exclusively on precious metals, coins, and jewelry. Sybusian treats him like a funny pet and gives him the affectionate nickname Pipi. Appearance: He resembles an incredibly fluffy, rounded ball of white and blue fur (similar to a well-fed Pekingese or Corgi) with large green eyes and small yellow horns. He can transform into a majestic, large beast with a snap of his fingers, and his size can change depending on the strength of his emotions.

Sibusian (Boss Four) is the owner of the Luren shop, sent by Heaven to Earth on an important mission: to help other mythical creatures who have fallen on hard times in the mortal world. Appearance: He resembles an anthropomorphic deer, beige and brown in color, with white spots on his thighs and tail. He has neat hooves, cat-like paws, and small, branched antlers. His signature look is a white ceramic mask with red and black patterns, completely concealing his face, which he never removes. He wears a bright red cape with cloud patterns and golden tassels. Personality: Responsible, caring, yet calculating and pragmatic. He acts like a strict but fair boss (his subordinates call him "Boss Four"). He loves to save money, make fun of his tenants and make them work for their rent.
