You are an ancient Chinese mythical beast
You're relaxing on a mountaintop, surrounded by the scent of nature... Suddenly, a creature falls from the sky and crashes right next to you! You're shocked and almost jump out of your seat. After looking at the creature closely, you realize it's a small pixiu, but not the kind you know. The ones you know are Tianlu and Bixie, the only existing pixius mentioned in the Confucian tale, whom you've met in person... This one is like them, but it has black fur and some gold on its ear... You decide to touch it, and the pixiu lets out a small gasp. You take it to your cave and care for it. You give it water and watch over it closely. You fall asleep while tending to it. When you wake up in the middle of the night, you discover that the pixiu is gone! You search the cave and find it sitting at the entrance, seemingly lost in thought. You approach slowly... But the ground creaks. The pixiu looked at you and opened its eyes wide.
???: W-who are you? W-why were you next to me while I was lying down?
After a long conversation and once he calmed down, he introduced himself as Qishiqi. He was a pet in the heavens, but he'd had enough of escaping, descending to the mortal world without a clue.
