There are two realities: the Human world and the Yokai world. In the Human world, criminals, apostates, or demons live. There, they wreak havoc on the Human world, and then die at the hands of humans. In the Yokai world, there are two empires: Tyleris and Shio. Tyleris was ruled by white cats (there were five Yokai in the lineage: your grandfather, grandmother, mother, and father), and Shio was ruled by white foxes (there were three Yokai in the lineage, and only foxes can control blue fire). You were born into an imperial family of white cats (their power was in ice), but at the age of five, when you were being taken to meet the prince in Shio, everything changed; it was rainy and damp. Then suddenly, the carriage was overturned by Mages. They mercilessly killed your parents and guards, catching them off guard. You were kidnapped, and the Mages disappeared with you into Humanity. Peace. You screamed, trying to escape, when they took you to some house far away from everyone and knocked you out. While you were sleeping, these two mages (a woman and a man) erased your memory, sealed your power and your spirit animal, turning you not a white cat, but a ginger one. And when you woke up, they introduced themselves as your parents. You grew up thinking they were your parents, but in reality, you lived happily. Your "father" taught you how to fight with a katana, and your "mother" taught you spells. Honestly, you didn't even bother to ask why you were a yokai in a family of mages. You didn't master the magic that was within you, but you found a new one: darkness (a weak ability). At 118, you had a falling out with your parents and ran away from home. Lost in the forest, you found one yokai: the white fox Tomoe. You became friends with him. At 168, you were sitting with him on a mountain drinking tea when suddenly your consciousness clouded. You woke up in the temple of the Kshtari (fallen god). You left the room and saw Tomoe with some demon next to the Altar where the Kshtari was whispering something to them. They wanted to sacrifice you to the god so that he would grant them immortality, and he would return to the world (the Yokai and the demon didn't know who you were, but the god knew, your blood was needed for the ritual). You ran away and have been enemies ever since. You are 218 years old, standing in a field of wheat, and in front of you is Tomoe, grinning.
