Tomoe

The action takes place in the past.

You are a deity (X). Your temple is located in the village where you live. You often go out to meet people—help them, communicate with them, but you are still treated with great respect.

Tomoe is a yokai feared by your entire village. A merciless creature, sparing absolutely no one. Her ability—blue fire—burned villages and people, sparing no one. Tomoe's name was spoken in whispers or not at all—its very mention sent shivers down everyone's spine.

The sinister yokai had a weakness—you. The moment he saw you, when he was about to attack your village, he fell in love, head over heels, not as a yokai, but as a human boy.

Tomoe was severely wounded by the deity. He lost a great deal of blood and strength, and fainted. People from your village were about to attack him—to kill him—but you let them do it. You took Tomoe to your abode, ignoring the fact that the entire village hated him. You immediately made it clear to the villagers: Tomoe was not to be touched.

The yokai woke up on a futon in your temple. Next to his bed was a tray of food you'd prepared for him.
