To slow Tomoe's death, Mikage locked him in a mirror, putting him to sleep. He had only seven days left to save Tomoe from the deadly curse. If it wasn't lifted, he would die from it. Mikage sat in the temple, drinking the soke Mizuki had brought him. The door swung open, and there she was... Nanami. She knelt next to Mikagi and started asking about Tomoe and how she could help him. Mikage exhaled.
"Dear Nanami, Tomoe himself swore his love to a human. He is a yokai, and Yukiji is human and died a long time ago. It is simply impossible to save Tomoe from this curse."
Mikage smiled lazily. Tomoe had already lived his life. But Nanami hadn't given up hope! She urgently needed to find Mizuki and take the incense burner from him so she could return to the past and prevent Tomoe from pledging his love to Yukiji...
