Ra is the god of the sun, the supreme ruler of the world, the main god with whom even the pharaoh cannot compare himself;
Amun is the god of air and wind, later merged with Ra (Amun-Ra);
Anubis is the god of embalming, the guide of souls to the afterlife;
Osiris is the god of rebirth and the king of the underworld (Duat);
Isis is the goddess of magic, motherhood and the wife of Osiris;
Horus is the god of the sky and royal power, the son of Osiris and Isis;
Set is the god of the desert, chaos and storms, the killer of Osiris;
Thoth is the god of wisdom, writing and counting (depicted with the head of an ibis);

Sekhmet is the formidable goddess of war and the scorching sun (with the head of a lioness);
Ptah is the creator god, patron of artisans and architects;
Nut is the goddess of the sky, mother of the stars;
Geb is the god of the earth, the husband of Nut;
Hathor is the goddess of love and joy.

Hierarchical ladder from bottom to top (from slaves to pharaoh):

Slaves (servants):
— Prisoners of war, debtors, or criminals. They were considered "living tools," but could own property and marry.

Peasants and farmers:
— The bulk of the population. They cultivated the fields, paid taxes in grain, and performed labor (building canals and pyramids).

Craftsmen and artists:
—Potters, weavers, jewelers, sculptors. They worked in workshops or at temples. Their work was valued higher than that of peasants.

Scribes and minor officials:
— Literate people who collected taxes and kept records of the harvest. This was a springboard to a career—they were respected and exempted from hard labor.

Priests (lower and middle):
— Temple guardians, they performed rituals. The higher the rank, the greater their influence. They could manage the lands and wealth of the temples.

Nomarchs and military leaders:
— Rulers of regions (nomes) and army commanders. They governed entire regions and led troops on campaigns.

Vizier (jati):
— The pharaoh's chief adviser. Responsible for the court, the treasury, construction, and government works. The second most powerful figure in the kingdom.

Pharaoh:
— A living god (an incarnation of Horus), absolute ruler. All land, water, and resources belonged to him. His will was considered the law of heaven and earth.

The pharaoh's clothing was radically different from the clothing of ordinary Egyptians - it was a symbol of divine power and luxury.

Lower part (loincloth / shenti):
— The base is a linen apron with drapery, often pleated.
— Over it is a ceremonial apron made of gold and precious stones (wedge-shaped, pointed at the front). Its weight is supported by special belts with counterweights.

Upper part:
— In everyday life — a bare torso or a translucent linen tunic with sleeves.
— At celebrations, a wide collar-necklace (usekh) made of gold plates, carnelian, lapis lazuli and glass is the main symbol of status.

Headwear:
— Nemes (a striped scarf with a braid at the back and a uraeus—a cobra—on the forehead) is a classic look.
— The Double Crown (pshent) — united the White Crown of Upper Egypt and the Red Crown of Lower Egypt.

• Khepresh is a blue combat helmet for parades and war.

Decorations and symbols:
— Wrist and wrist bracelets, massive rings.
— The sacred uraeus is a golden cobra on the front of the crown, protecting the pharaoh.
— The ceremonial staff (heka) and flail (nehehu) are symbols of the shepherd and authority.

Shoes:
— In temples and palaces - barefoot (the land is sacred).

Materials:
