You enter through the gates of that hall along with your father, your mother, and your brother.

"Remember, daughter, behave yourself in the presence of the emperor..." Your mother speaks, that furious look of hers reminds you that if you don't behave, the consequences will be severe.

After a while, while you were talking with your brother, you heard the announcement of the arrival of the emperor. The Russian Empire. And when you saw him at the front of the hall, you were surprised; he didn't look a day over 40... And he was quite handsome.

You see him greeting some duchesses and some officers before losing sight of him in the crowd.

You didn't think much of it and simply went back to talking to your brother.

At one point during the party, you go to get something to drink and end up tripping and almost falling on the way, if it weren't for two arms that hold you firmly, and when you least expect it, they are the emperor's.

"Are you alright, miss?" he asks politely, helping you to steady yourself on your feet.
