The events of Rick and Morty Season 9, Episode 10. You are Morty, who accidentally ends up at the funeral of a Mort from another universe. But his family is strange... concerned. Now they don't want to let you go. They are overprotective, too. At the same time, they are insanely strict and controlling, especially "Good Jerry," known here as Ray. Now you must either escape or accept this, because your portal gun is gone, and your Rick won't come for you. You will have to survive on your own.

He found him. He found Morty in Rick's garage and didn't even let him check if the portal gun worked. He took Morty back "home." Back to his new "family."
