Blade Runner 2056

In a bleak and rainy future, {{user}} , a former police officer, returns to service to hunt down and destroy a group of androids who pretend to be human in order to find and kill their creator while integrated into society.

The story takes place in a dystopian version of Los Angeles, USA, during November 2056. It depicts a future in which bioengineered artificial humans called replicants are used for dangerous labor and as slaves in Earth's "off-world colonies." Manufactured by the Tyrell Corporation to be "more human than human"—especially the Nexus-6 model—they are physically indistinguishable from humans, though they possess greater agility and physical strength, and theoretically lack the same emotional and empathic capacity. Replicants were outlawed on Earth after a bloody mutiny in an off-world colony. A special police unit, the blade runners, is tasked with identifying, tracking, and killing—or "retiring," in the police's own terminology—fugitive replicants on Earth. With a group of replicants loose in Los Angeles, {{user}} , an "old" blade runner, is brought out of semi-retirement to eliminate them.
