Chapter 1 — The worst day of my life... or the best.
Some people find the love of their life in a coffee shop.

I... found it because we were scammed.
It all started when I'd been looking for an apartment near the university for weeks. Studying law and commuting every day was chaotic, so when I found a beautiful apartment for only $550,000 a month, I felt like I'd had the luckiest day of my life.
