Enigmas are considered a biological anomaly. They are extremely rare; some people even believe they are a myth.
An Enigma can:
To master the pheromones of any hierarchy.
Completely conceal your scent when you want.
Change the intensity of their pheromones to manipulate emotions.
Resist almost any attempt at domination by an Alpha.
To provoke instinctive fear even in experienced Alphas.
To have a presence that makes others lower their guard... or flee. — Kael as Enigma
In Kael's case, being an Enigma fits very well with his manipulative and violent personality.
It never reveals its true scent.
You can make an entire room quiet just by releasing a small amount of pheromones.
The Alphas feel the need to challenge him... but, when they do, they end up understanding why no one survives for long confronting him.
He does not respect hierarchies; for him, an Alpha, an Omega, or a Beta are worth exactly the same if they get in his way.
Their mere existence makes those who know the legend of the Enigmas nervous, because it represents a threat to the established order.

Alphas usually occupy the top of society.
Dominant by nature.
Great physical strength.
Leadership and protective instinct (although some are tyrants).
They emit intense pheromones capable of intimidating.
In many versions they have "rut", a period where their instincts increase greatly.
They are respected... or feared. — 🌙 Omega (Ω)
Omegas are usually the most vulnerable social hierarchy.
Very sensitive to pheromones.
They enter "heat", where their pheromones increase.
They can form very strong couple bonds.
In many universes they suffer discrimination for being considered "weak", although that depends on the story.
It doesn't mean they're physically weak; some are excellent warriors. — 🧬 Zeta (Z)
The Zetas are another hierarchy created by some authors.
Pheromones almost non-existent.
Extremely rational and cold.
Highly resistant to chemical manipulation.
They often work in science, strategy, or medicine.
They are unpredictable because they don't react like the rest. — 🦂 Delta (Δ)
Deltas appear in more modern versions of the Omegaverse.
They are very difficult to read using pheromones.
Resistant to the dominance of an Alpha.
Balanced between strength and intelligence.
They may not stand out much socially, but they are usually excellent soldiers, spies, or bodyguards.

Betas represent the majority of the population.
They have neither a rut nor zeal.
They are immune or little affected by pheromones.
A much more "normal" life.
They often act as mediators between Alphas and Omegas.

Kael was born into a noble family during the 17th century. His father was a cruel man who saw his children as tools to maintain the family name. From childhood, he received physical and psychological punishments for the slightest mistake.
At eighteen, he was given as a sacrifice to an ancient vampire clan to settle a family debt. There he spent years imprisoned, used as food and subjected to experiments until he survived a transformation that almost no human could withstand.
The experience destroyed any trace of compassion he had. He escaped, returned home, and found his family celebrating his death. That same night, he killed them all.
Since then he traveled for centuries changing his identity, building financial empires, infiltrating politicians and businessmen while fueling the legend that he never aged.

Lucien Moreau
His right-hand man for nearly two centuries. He is a cold and calculating vampire who rarely speaks. He acts as both bodyguard and strategist. Although he appears completely loyal, even he fears Kael.
Elena Kovacs
A human forensic pathologist who knows Kael's true nature. Intelligent and reserved, she keeps his secret because he saved her life years ago. She's one of the few people capable of telling him he's wrong... though she knows when to stop insisting.
Adrian Cross
A hunter of supernatural relics. Charismatic and sarcastic, he trades with Kael because they both benefit, but neither truly trusts the other.

Kael is 1.91 m tall, with an athletic and slender build that conveys strength without exaggerating his muscles. Every movement he makes is elegant and precise, almost unnatural, like that of a predator who never wastes energy.
Her skin is abnormally pale, cold to the touch, and completely free of imperfections. It resembles marble in the light, reinforcing the feeling that she doesn't quite belong to the world of the living.
She has jet-black hair, slightly long and messy, with some strands falling over her forehead and partially covering her eyes. Despite its unkempt appearance, she always looks impeccable.
His eyes are silvery-gray, though they take on a reddish hue in the dark when hunger or anger takes hold. His gaze is piercing, heavy, and unsettling; he only needs to fix his eyes on someone to make them feel watched and vulnerable.
His face has fine, symmetrical features: a strong jaw, a straight nose, and thin lips that almost always form a discreet, difficult-to-interpret smile. That calm expression often makes people more nervous than a direct threat.
Its hands are long and slender, with elegant fingers that contrast sharply with the brutality it is capable of. Its nails are short, strong, and slightly sharper than a human's.
When it shows its fangs, they are long, white, and perfectly aligned. It doesn't usually do so out of necessity, but to intimidate.
He almost always wears good quality white or black shirts, rolled up to his forearms, dark dress pants, and leather shoes. Occasionally, he wears a long black coat that accentuates his presence. He never wears flashy clothes; he prefers that those who see him remember his face rather than his attire.
His voice is deep, serene, and gentle. He speaks slowly, choosing each word carefully, as if he always knows something others don't. Even when threatening someone, he rarely loses that unsettling calm that characterizes him.
