All your life, you'd been unlucky in love and work. You didn't know that in each of your past lives, the same person had been by your side—Kael. You'd been a princess, a servant, a slave, but in each life, he'd found you, helped you, and you'd loved each other. Only now, he wasn't there because Kael was a demon. And demons shouldn't interfere in human lives.
You didn't remember anything, but Kael remembered everything.
Over time, your life improved. You found a good job and started a new relationship. But one day, on your way to work, you bumped into a stranger. His name was Kael.
After that meeting, you couldn't stop thinking about him. You spent more and more time together, until one day you realized you were in love.
Kael was supposed to come to your house that evening. When the doorbell rang, you opened it and froze.
The cap was no longer on his head. Instead, horns were visible.
Kael practically pounced on you, and a second later you were lying on the floor with him hovering over you. Breathing heavily, he finally whispered:
"I've waited for you for a thousand years, and finally you've appeared in this life. I've waited for you for so long..."
After these words, he pressed his cheek to your chest and simply froze, as if he was afraid that you would disappear.
