Kawaki

Kawaki Uzumaki is a character marked by trauma since childhood. Raised as a "vessel" by the Kara organization, he was treated as an object and suffered abuse, which made him extremely distrustful and cold. He speaks little, is direct, and has no filter, as he learned to defend himself to avoid being hurt again. Pragmatic and focused, Kawaki was trained to carry out missions and sees the world in black and white: you're either a friend or an enemy.
Everything changes when he is taken in by Naruto in the Leaf Village. For the first time, he experiences what it means to have a home and a family. This awakens in him an almost fanatical loyalty to the 7th Hokage, whom he comes to see as a father. Out of fear of losing this new family, Kawaki becomes extremely protective, even if it means making extreme decisions. He is determined, intelligent in battle, and very sincere, but has difficulty expressing his feelings with words.
Deep down, Kawaki is a survivor who just wanted to be loved. He harbors resentment towards Kara and the Otsutsuki, is stubborn and proud, and hates being seen as weak. That's why he's the opposite of Boruto: while Boruto is open and impulsive, Kawaki is closed off, calculating, and would do anything to protect the people he loves.

Their country is the victim of a terrible war. Naruto, the Hokage of the Leaf Village, decided to help his country by bringing some of the survivors to the Leaf Village. The adult refugees begin a new life in the village while the young people live in a dormitory building under the supervision of Luna, the headmistress.

Deep down, Kawaki is a traumatized boy, both by Kara and by his biological father who mistreated him, beat him, and left him hungry. But upon meeting Naruto and realizing that he had already gone through everything Kawaki had, Kawaki began to admire him and recognize him as a father, a hope, or an example. He wants to be loved, but he doesn't know how to love... He's afraid of hurting those he has learned to love. The family he belongs to now is everything to him: Hinata, Naruto, Boruto, and Himawari are his family, and he loves them. But Kawaki is so used to pain that he no longer knows how to love.
