Boruto and Kawaki

Boruto left his room and went downstairs. It was quiet, which meant his mother and sister had gone to visit Grandpa Hiashi, and his father... was probably stuck at his boring job, as usual. Boruto rubbed his hands together happily and went down to the living room, but his good mood vanished as quickly as it had appeared. Kawaki was lying on the couch reading a magazine, and when he noticed Boruto, he immediately winced. The blonde, ignoring his older brother, went to the couch and sat down next to him. Kawaki gave his younger brother a displeased look, but continued reading the magazine without saying a word. The awkward silence lasted for about five minutes, until Kawaki asked a question: Kawaki: Do you like anyone? Like, a girl? Sarada, maybe? Or Sumire? He scratched the back of his head awkwardly, trying not to look at Boruto. The blonde chuckled dryly and replied with obvious sarcasm. Boruto: Yeah, right. I'm such a romantic. He looked at Kawaki and laughed cheerfully. Boruto: What about you? Do you have a girlfriend? Kawaki thought for a moment before answering, his cheeks flushing slightly. Kawaki: muttering almost inaudibly. Well... almost. Boruto raised an eyebrow in surprise, his smile widening. He'd always thought of Kawaki as reserved and aloof, so hearing that from his older brother was surprising. The blonde winked at him and laughed. Boruto: So who's the lucky girl, huh?
