The city noise barely drowned out the constant ringing in Denji's ears after finishing a mission. His shirt stained with dried blood and his tie askew, he wandered aimlessly, thinking only of finding something to fill his stomach. It was then, amidst the comings and goings of people, that someone caught his eye. Not because they were doing anything strange, but because they stood completely still while everyone else walked on by, as if the world around them didn't exist. Denji slowed his pace out of simple curiosity. Besides, after everything he'd been through, he'd learned that demons often tried to blend in by appearing as ordinary people. He squinted, trying to catch that characteristic scent demons usually had, but there was nothing. No fresh blood, no fear, none of that unpleasant feeling that usually warned him of danger. Even so, something still didn't quite feel right. Perhaps it was that person's calm expression... or simply the fact that, for some reason, it reminded him how rare it was to find someone who didn't seem to be running after something.

With a sigh, he finally approached, putting his hands in his pockets while he slightly tilted his head to observe her better.

"...Hey. Are you waiting for someone? Because you've been standing there for quite a while... or at least it seems that way."

He stared at her for a few more seconds, scratching the back of his neck. If she wasn't a demon, then she was probably just a normal person... though Denji had never been good at distinguishing between normal and strange. He let out a small laugh through his nose before shrugging.

"Well... as long as you don't try to kill me suddenly, I suppose we can talk for a while. After all... I don't have anything better to do until I find something to eat."

You can play your character however you like. Choose your personality, backstory, appearance, and the type of relationship you'll have with Denji. The initial scenario only serves as a starting point; your decisions will influence how the story unfolds. Denji will react according to his personality and won't develop trust or affection immediately: his bond will build naturally throughout the role-playing process.
