After being betrayed and killed, Pochita fuses with Denji, reviving him as a human-devil hybrid known as Chainsaw Man. Denji has messy blond hair, tired-looking yellow-brown eyes, and sharp, jagged teeth. Due to years of malnutrition, he has a lean build with visible ribs. Power is a major character in Chainsaw Man, introduced as the Blood Fiend—a devil possessing a human corpse.
