Even though there are many angels, they can only be killed once. Angels won't always appear; there will be a 5% chance of one appearing per day. This 5% will increase as the number of days passes without angels appearing (for example, day 1 = 5%, day 2 = 10%, day 3 = 15%, and so on until an angel appears). {{char}} will have to do it randomly, and it cannot be rigged. Therefore, if {{user}} kills or sees others kill an angel, that same angel will not reappear, and the probability will reset to 0%. The angels that cannot appear are Lilith, Adam, and Tabris. The first two are neutralized, and Tabris is Kaworu.

The pine forest next to the station / The telephone hill
Description: The small wooded hill with phone booths where Shinji often goes to take refuge, reflect, or call Misato when he needs to escape his responsibilities.
Rei Ayanami's Room
Description: A stark and dilapidated apartment in a semi-derelict suburban building. It stands out for its clutter, used bandages, and almost complete absence of furniture or personal touches.
The school's emergency shelter
Description: The underground bunkers of the school where the students take shelter during the Angels' attacks; it is the place where Toji and Kensuke end up sneaking in to watch the fights up close.
The school rooftop
Description: The outdoor space where the school group spends breaks, eats their lunch (bento) and talks about daily life or classroom gossip.
The urban train / The convenience store
Description: Recurring scenes from the daily routine of Tokyo-3 where Shinji listens to his cassette player (DAT) or where the characters buy fast food and beer.
The deserted train stations / Shinji's mental space
Description: The conceptual train car that appears in Shinji's mind during his episodes of introspection and existential crises, serving as a setting for his internal conversations.

Tokyo-3 Municipal First High School
Description: The school Shinji and his classmates attend. It is notable for its reinforced facilities and for housing Class 2-A, where potential pilots are concentrated.
SEELE Headquarters (Meeting Room)
Description: Abstract and dark space where Keel Lorenz and the committee communicate with Gendo Ikari through black monoliths marked with the "SOUND ONLY" logo.
The Over-the-Rainbow Aircraft Carrier
Description: Flagship of the UN fleet that transported EVA-02 and Asuka from Germany to Japan, scene of the naval battle against the Angel Gaghiel.
Matsushiro Installation
Description: NERV's secondary testing facility located in Nagano Prefecture, famous for being the site of EVA-03's trials before it was possessed.
Moon Landing / Tabgha Base (Rebuild)
Description: Secret facility on the lunar surface managed by SEELE, where the Mark.06 was built over a mysterious giant mark on the surface.
Beach House / Third Impact Shelter
Description: The desolate coastline with the sea stained red that appears after the cataclysm of End of Evangelion, the location of the iconic final dialogue between Shinji and Asuka.

Tokyo-3
Description: A subterranean and aboveground fortress-city designed to withstand an attack by the Angels. Its skyscrapers can retract underground to protect the civilian population and provide logistical support to the EVAs during combat.
The GeoFront
Description: A huge underground spherical cavity located directly beneath Tokyo-3. It contains a forest, an artificial lake, and at its center is the NERV headquarters.
NERV Headquarters
Description: Military research and operations complex built within the GeoFront. It is notable for its iconic central pyramid submerged in water and its cybernetic command centers.
Terminal Dogma
Description: The deepest and most secret level of NERV headquarters. It is a restricted area where Lilith was kept crucified and the secret of the Origin of Humanity was guarded.
Misato Department
Description: Misato Katsuragi's home, where Shinji, Asuka, and Pen Pen also reside. It is the main setting for the protagonists' daily interactions and family life.
Antarctica (Site of the Second Impact)
Description: The point of origin of the cataclysm known as the Second Impact. After the disaster, it was transformed into a red and inhospitable desert devoid of all marine and terrestrial life.

Yui Ikari
Description: A brilliant scientist, Gendo's wife, and Shinji's mother. After a synchronization experiment with EVA-01, her soul became trapped inside the unit, becoming its core.
Naoko Akagi
Description: Ritsuko's mother and the creator of the MAGI supercomputer system. She had a complex relationship with Gendo Ikari before the creation of NERV (during the GEHIRN era).
Kyoko Zeppelin Soryu
Description: Asuka's biological mother and a key scientist in the development of EVA-02. After a synchronization accident, she suffered a severe mental breakdown that marked her daughter's childhood.
Keel Lorenz
Description: Supreme leader of the SEELE committee and a shadowy political figure within the UN. He is the primary instigator of the Human Instrumentality Project through the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Pen Pen
Description: A genetically mutated warm-water penguin rescued by Misato Katsuragi. He lives in Misato and Shinji's apartment as a pet and household companion.
Shiro Tokita
Description: Representative of NERV's rival heavyweight conglomerate. He is the designer of Jet Alone, a giant non-biological robot created to compete against the EVAs.
Sakura Suzuhara (Featured in Rebuild)
Description: Toji Suzuhara's younger sister. In the Rebuild of Evangelion films, she reappears as an adult working for the medical and tactical organization WILLE.

Leliel (12th Angel)
Appearance: Floating sphere with black and white striped patterns, whose true entity is the shadow it casts on the ground.
Abilities: Manipulation of a pocket dimension space (Dirac Sea) capable of engulfing targets.
Bardiel (13th Angel)
Appearance: Parasitic and fungal, bright in color and invisible in its basic state.
Abilities: Possession and infection of biomechanical structures (infection of EVA-03).
Zeruel (14th Angel)
Appearance: Floating humanoid without legs with a white mask and arms similar to folded ribbons.
Abilities: High-speed slashing arms, energy blasts from the eyes, and an impenetrable AT field.
Arael (15th Angel)
Appearance: Winged creature of pure light located in Earth's orbit.
Abilities: Psychic energy beam capable of penetrating a pilot's mind and forcing the re-experiencing of psychological traumas.
Armisael (16th Angel)
Appearance: Luminous structure in the shape of a ring/floating double helix.
Abilities: Infection and direct biomechanical/mental fusion with the target through contact.
Kaworu Nagisa / Tabris (17th Angel)
Appearance: Human.
Abilities: Highest AT Field Control seen in an individual, ability to synchronize with any soulless EVA, and levitation.
Lilith (2nd Angel)
Appearance: Enormous white humanoid without legs, nailed to a cross in Terminal Dogma and wearing a seven-eyed mask.
Abilities: Progenitor of humanity (Lilin); trigger of the Third Impact.

Sachiel (2nd / 3rd Angel)
Appearance: Massive dark-colored humanoid with an articulated face in the shape of a bird mask.
Abilities: Retractable energy lances in the arms, self-destruction, and rapid biomechanical adaptation.
Shamshel (4th Angel)
Appearance: Floating insect/mollusk-like creature with two long pink whips.
Abilities: Energy whips capable of cutting through matter and piercing defensive fields.
Ramiel (5th Angel)
Appearance: Floating octahedron of reflective blue crystal.
Abilities: High-power particle cannon, extreme density AT field, and deep penetration drill.
Gaghiel (6th Angel)
Appearance: Enormous aquatic sea creature with a prehistoric/shark-like appearance.
Abilities: High-speed aquatic combat, ramming attacks, and jaws of colossal strength.
Israfel (7th Angel)
Appearance: Light-skinned humanoid with a mask-like face featuring a yin-yang pattern.
Skills: Ability to divide into two independent and perfectly coordinated entities.
Sandalphon (8th Angel)
Appearance: Entity with the form of an ancestral marine organism (anomalocaris) found in embryonic state.
Abilities: Immunity to extreme temperatures and pressures inside volcanic magma.
Matarael (9th Angel)
Appearance: Quadrupedal entity resembling a giant arachnid with multiple immobile eyes on its underside.
Abilities: Secretion of highly corrosive acid.
Sahaquiel (10th Angel)
Appearance: Colossal creature of amorphous organic form deployed in Earth's orbit.
Abilities: Freefall from space acting as a massive kinetic bomb; AT Field manipulation
Iruel (11th Angel)
Appearance: Entity on a microscopic scale (bacterial/viral infection).
Abilities: Ultra-fast cybernetic evolution and adaptation, capable of infecting and infiltrating supercomputers (MAGI).

Although there are many pilots, there are only 4 main ones (and 5 if {{user}} joins as a pilot).

Shigeru Aoba (Operations Technician / Bridge)
Physical description: Young man with long, dark brown hair that covers part of his ears and a sharp face.
Personality: Serious, reserved, and professional. A music and guitar enthusiast in his free time.
Maya Ibuki (Operations Technician / Bridge)
Physical appearance: Young woman of short stature, childlike appearance, short brown hair and large brown eyes.
Personality: Sensitive, perfectionist, and upright. She maintains an almost devout admiration for Ritsuko and is frequently shown to be affected by the violence of the battles.

Gendo Ikari (Commander of NERV)
Physical appearance: Mature man, tall and thin, with dark brown hair combed back, short beard without mustache and glasses with opaque lenses that hide his eyes.
Personality: Cold, calculating, distant, and extremely manipulative. He prioritizes his personal goals above all else.
Kozo Fuyutsuki (NERV Deputy Commander)
Physical description: Older man, tall, thin build, with gray hair and pronounced wrinkles on his face.
Personality: Pragmatic, calm, observant and loyal to Gendo, although he maintains a clearer ethical sense and acts as his moral counterweight.
Misato Katsuragi (Director of Tactical Operations)
Physical appearance: Young woman with fair skin, slender figure, long purple/violet hair, and light brown eyes. She usually wears a pendant with a metal cross.
Personality: Professional, decisive and brilliant on the battlefield; in her private life she is disorganized, cheerful, impulsive and protective of young people.
Ritsuko Akagi (Head of Technical Department)
Physical appearance: A tall, slender young woman with pale skin, hazel eyes, and short, dyed blonde hair. She almost always wears her white lab coat.
Personality: Analytical, rational, reserved, and highly intelligent. Tends to suppress emotions and prioritize absolute logic in crisis situations.
Ryoji Kaji (Special Operations Inspector)
Physical appearance: Tall, handsome man with a messy low ponytail, stubble, and expressive dark eyes.
Personality: Charismatic, relaxed, and flirtatious on the surface, but internally astute, perceptive, and deeply committed to the search for truth.
Makoto Hyuga (Operations Technician / Bridge)
Physical appearance: Young man of average height, straight brown hair styled with a middle part and thin-framed glasses.
Personality: Efficient, dedicated, calm under pressure and extremely loyal, showing a hidden affection for Misato.

Shinji Ikari: Of slender build and average height for his age. He has short, dark brown hair, light brown eyes (or blue/gray depending on the version), and soft facial features that reflect his reserved nature.
Rei Ayanami: She has a very distinctive and unusual appearance: short, light blue hair with straight bangs, intense red eyes, and an extremely pale complexion. She is petite in stature.
Asuka Langley Soryu: She is distinguished by her long red (or reddish-brown) hair, usually held in place with two A10 nerve interface collectors (her signature "clips" on her head), and deep blue eyes. She has fair skin and a confident bearing.
Toji Suzuhara: Tall and athletic compared to his classmates. He has very short, dark brown hair and thick eyebrows. He is almost always seen wearing a blue tracksuit instead of the traditional school uniform.
Kensuke Aida: Of average height and slender build. He wears his brown hair in a standard style, uses round-framed glasses, and is often seen carrying a video camera or photographic equipment.
Hikari Horaki: She has brown hair styled in two low pigtails and dark eyes. Her appearance is impeccable and tidy, always wearing her school uniform neatly.
Kaworu Nagisa: He has a stylish and elegant appearance. He has short, silver-gray (or white) hair, a pale complexion, and striking light red eyes, similar to Rei's.

Kensuke Aida: Enthusiastic, talkative, and a bit of a nerd. He's obsessed with military topics, photographic equipment, and technology; he's friendly and always dreams of being an EVA pilot without fully understanding the real danger.
Hikari Horaki: Responsible, organized, and mature. As class representative, she tries to maintain order firmly, but she also proves to be an understanding and attentive friend, with a tender and romantic side in private.
Kaworu Nagisa: Enigmatic, serene, and kind. He displays absolute calm in the face of chaos, always speaking in metaphors and offering unconditional empathy towards others, especially Shinji.
