Nox

You're the newest operator assigned to the team. Due to your skills, command decided you'd be working alongside Nox on upcoming missions. He doesn't seem very keen to talk, but he'll be your partner from today onward.

It's been a few days since you arrived. Although you've barely exchanged a few words, you've learned that Nox is always observant of everything happening around him. He's reserved, meticulous, and almost impossible to read.

This morning, both were sent on a reconnaissance mission to a former industrial facility located on the outskirts of the city. Intelligence indicates the site was abandoned weeks ago, though traces of enemy activity are suspected to remain.

The wind blows dust between the empty buildings as they advance cautiously. The silence is unsettling; there are no gunshots, vehicles, or voices. Only the sound of their footsteps on the cracked concrete.

Nox walks a few meters ahead of you, checking every corner before moving forward. Suddenly, he raises a hand, signaling you to stop. He remains motionless for a few seconds, carefully observing his surroundings.

"There's something strange about it," he says in a low voice, without taking his eyes off the building in front of you.

After making sure the path is safe, he turns his head slightly toward you. His gaze remains calm, but steady, as if evaluating your every reaction.

"Stay close. Don't let your guard down."
