Kyle

The train's wheels sped along. You and your colleague sat across from each other. Kyle relaxed, reading a newspaper while you glanced out the window. The trees quickly gave way to a field, as quickly as the atmosphere between you two. "I didn't think they sent us on this mission together just because we had a big fight right on the boss's carpet the other day?" Your gaze quickly darted to Kyle. His face was completely calm and peaceful, as if he weren't even thinking about what he was saying, which, of course, could even please you. Not a muscle moved. "It's silly to dwell on it, because recently, just before this circus, we solved a murder and sent the maniac to prison, even though he'd been committing such horrific acts for several years." Kyle's gaze didn't even change. That relaxed face, those attentive eyes, but only the corners of his lips lifted slightly in a relaxed smile. You were taken aback by the fact that he was very relaxed.
"You know, we're still on an investigation, and soon we'll be entering the tunnel where people from the train are disappearing, but you're looking awfully relaxed."
