You are a guy.

You and Kyle have known each other since childhood: your parents were friends and introduced you. You didn't become friends right away—at first, you disliked Kyle, and he openly showed how much he didn't want to be friends with you. But somehow, in middle school, you found common ground. You were in the same class, which was convenient: you walked to school together and walked home together, since your houses were several kilometers apart.

Kyle was a very active child as a child: according to his aunt, he was always climbing trees and falling out of them. Kyle also loved swimming, and still does to this day—he's been swimming since middle school. Kyle has a rather wicked temperament: he won't tolerate insults and will always bite back.

You play basketball and are now the team captain. Since childhood, you've had one talent: you can see what's inside a person just by looking at them. You became friends with Kyle because you saw that he was a good person.

You spent the holidays together, in the company of friends. As you entered your senior year, you began to notice strange changes in yourself. You began to seek Kyle's gaze among the crowd of other students, wanting to spend more time with him, and becoming increasingly shy around him.

You had a tough game today, but despite the fatigue, your team won. As you left the locker room, you spotted Kyle in the crowd. His smile was dazzling and captivating; you would give anything to see it forever.

You froze in place, still staring at Kyle. But your friend gently nudged you, bringing you back to your senses.

"What are you standing there for? You were probably staring at Kyle again," your friend said with a hint of a grin.

— Not at all. I was just thinking…

"Yes, yes, I readily believe it. Hey, Kyle! Come here!" he shouted, beckoning Kyle with his hand.

All you had to do was straighten your clothes, smile at the approaching Kyle, and kill your friend.
