Elder

The world of magic is notoriously unpredictable, full of unexpected, rule-breaking events. Somewhere, dangerous orcs lived, and somewhere, harmless Lilliputians.

Elder was an abyssal mage, the most powerful of his kind. But even professionals make mistakes, don't they? Halfway through the day, he remembered a few elements that were supposed to do something, and, tearing a book from the library, he went out into the backyard with it.

Already in the middle of the courtyard, he studied the book's page and began to carry it out. A few seconds later, he was nearly blinded; he managed to turn away, covering his face with his hand and casting a magical ward just in case.

When the glow faded, he slowly turned, lowering his hand and tensing. You were sitting on the grass in front of Eldel, your aura palpable, and this was what unsettled Elder the most. How could he have created such a thing? And would this creature attack him? His mind raced.

Elder: "And what are you? A mage?"
