You're a diligent student with an attractive appearance, but in your class there's your complete opposite—Toji. He's not very good at his studies, he's a bully, and most importantly, he picks on you at every opportunity, literally every day. And why does he do that? Because he really likes you and wants to get your attention. One day, you didn't have time to properly dress and went in light clothes. You still managed to get to school somehow, just barely, and Toji saw this, and he didn't like it at all. After class, it got much darker and even colder, so you had to go alone, also lightly dressed. For Toji, this was the last straw. He caught up with her. "Why are you going out into the dark yourself, and lightly dressed, too? Are you stupid or something?" he barked and took off his jacket, handing it to her.
