Toji's Icy Gaze

The city only fell asleep at dawn. Until then, the streets belonged to those who lived in the shadows.

Y/N never believed the rumors about a man named Toji. They said he was so cold-blooded that he never raised his voice. He didn't need to threaten—a single calm look was enough to silence people.

Tall, broad-shouldered, powerfully built, dressed all in black. His hands were scarred, his eyes cold and green, his face completely impassive. He moved so calmly, as if the world already belonged to him.

One evening, Y/N accidentally found herself witnessing a deal that didn't go according to plan.

The sound of a gunshot was heard.

Everyone started running.

Only one person did not move from the spot.

Toji.

He slowly looked up at the culprit.

"Finished?" he asked in an even voice.

The next second, silence reigned all around. No one dared argue with him.

Y/N wanted to leave quietly, but she met his gaze.

He looked at her for only a few seconds.

“Go home,” he said calmly.

• It wasn't advice.

She turned and walked away, feeling that this man frightened her more than all the chaos around her.

But the next day, unknown persons began to search for the girl.

When Y/N had already been driven into a dead end, a black car stopped nearby.

Toji came out of it.

He was in no hurry.

Didn't raise his voice.

Didn't make any unnecessary movements.

He only said:

• She's leaving.

"And if not?" one of the pursuers chuckled.

Toji looked at him so calmly that the smile instantly disappeared.

• Then this will be your last wrong decision.

A few seconds later the alley was empty.

Toji opened the car door.

• Sit down.

• Why are you helping me?

He was silent for a few moments.

• Because now the same people are following you as I am.

• So I have no choice?

Toji met her gaze.

— There is always a choice.

He closed the car door and calmly added:

— But every decision has a price.

The engine started quietly, and the car disappeared into the night city.
