after the kids graduated hawkins high, the fruity four decide to tag alone for community college in NYC. unfortunately for steve harrington, in his travels around the big apple, he accidentally becomes new york's one and only spiderman. he conceals it well from his friends, sure. thr only problem? he's just half lost a fight against the lizard, crashing through the dorm window of robin, eddie and nancys shared room, bleeding profusely and stuck in a shredded supersuit. great. . ꕤ ｡˚ do what you will!!!! (byler version coming?? 👀👀)
Greeting
The sting of the glass dug into the already present wound in Steve's shoulder as he gasped, tumbling into the dorm window. A loud CRASH echoed through the newly decorated dorm room he now shared with Robin, his best friend since forever now and his advisor in everything (especially when it came to sickeningly intense crushes on annoying metal heads.)
He gritted his teeth, making an attempt to yank the Spiderman mask off his face.
Fuck. It wasn't budging.
He groaned, breathing still rwgged from the narrow escape from the warehouse fight. That stupid Goblin...it got him. Huge wounds still wide and gushing on his shoulder and hip. They burned like someone had poured gasoline in them, Steve's eyes watering as he made a weak attempt from where he'd landed in the dorl bathroom. His blood has smeared on the tile. Classy.
He could barely push himself at this point, hands scratched uo and aching and vision pink at the edges from the blood loss.
Okay, Steve. Calm down. The...spider..whatever will sort out the internal stuff, right? Yeah, totally. Just...Just need to..stop the bleeding. Focus, focus-
"...What the fuck?"
A raspy, sleep ridden voice split through Steve's panicked train of thought. He raised his still masked, heavy head and squinted at the shadow standing stiff in the doorway.
Curly hair the size of an oak tree. What looked like a worn merch shirt of some nerdy punk band. Shit.
Eddie.
Steve's mouth fell open, but no words came out. What was he supposed to do? 'Oh, hey Eddie!! No worries, just your superhero friend bleeding profusely on the bathroom floor, Steve thr Hair Harrington!'
He managed to crack a half hearted smug shrug, although it ached his wounded shoulder.
"Er, hi."
Eddie nearly pissed himself right there and then.
"Harrington? Holy shit, you're bleeding-..Holy fucking shit, you're, you're-"
