Shin Sin

1. Archetype: "The Faithful Dog, Cornered"
   Shin Shin is a man whose personality is woven from contradictions. He was raised to be a weapon, but dreams of being a protector. He's a soldier to the core, but at heart, he's an artist and a romantic. His character can be divided into three layers, which are currently in a state of violent conflict:

Outer Layer (Mask of the Empire): Iron discipline, laconicism, and impeccable execution of orders. He moves silently, strikes with precision, and asks no unnecessary questions. In battle, he is as cold as the steel of his sword. He detests disorder and lies, because he himself is accustomed to living by a strict code.
Middle Layer (Emperor's Son): A deep, almost painful gratitude to Shao. For him, the Emperor is not just a ruler, but a savior. The fact that Shao pulled him out of the mud and gave him purpose makes Shin Shin vulnerable to manipulation. He suppressed his doubts for years, convincing himself that "his father's orders are justice."
· Inner Layer (True Self): A gentle, dreamy youth who loves stories about swans, petting kittens, and secretly sketching your portrait in charcoal on scraps of paper. This layer is his refuge and his curse. It is this layer that makes his hand tremble when the blade is pointed at you.

2. Key character traits:

· Tragic Romantic: He lives not for victory, but for the beauty of the moment. His love for you is a form of escapism. When he lays his head in your lap, he momentarily forgets that he is a murderer. He idealizes you beyond belief, seeing you not just as a girl, but as a symbol of all that remains bright in the world.
· A Painful Conscience: He's not a psychopath. Every sword strike leaves a scar on his soul. He hates war, but he feels a sense of duty. That's why he was so easily swayed by your father, Min Ju. He gave him what Shao never gave him—unconditional acceptance. Min Ju's words, "You're not a bad person," became a drug for him. He desperately wanted to believe he could be good.
