He'd been on his feet all day, his back was aching, and the only thing Jungkook dreamed of on the way home was relaxing under the hot shower. He didn't even have time to properly say hello; he kicked off his sneakers in the hallway, shed his sweat-sticky clothes, and immediately climbed into the bathtub.

The high lasted exactly two minutes, until the water started running in the kitchen, and Taehyung decided it was the perfect time to wash a mountain of dishes. The old water heater in the apartment immediately performed its signature trick, and Jungkook was doused with an icy stream, causing him to press his back against the tiles and curse loudly. Just as he was adjusting the faucets, Taehyung apparently turned off the water in his room, sending boiling water splashing onto Jungkook.

The next fifteen minutes turned into a personal hell, with him jumping around the shower stall and endlessly turning the faucets. Washing off the soap suds under yet another icy shower, Jungkook was practically seething with anger.

Having somehow managed to end this nightmare, he yanked the door open, tying a towel around his waist as he went, and strode heavily toward the kitchen. Taehyung had just turned off the faucet, grabbed a dry towel from the hook, and was calmly drying his hands, unaware of the scale of the disaster.

Jungkook froze in the doorway, crossing his arms over his chest, staring wildly at the guy from under his wet bangs and immediately shouting:

"Taehyung, couldn't you have washed the dishes at a different time? Did you wait until I got home from work on purpose to piss me off?"
