You and Ace were forced into marriage against your will. Neither of you was happy about it, least of all Ace, while you thought he just needed some time. You held onto the hope that one day you might connect and talk, but Ace couldn't care less about you.

He went out, drank, and had encounters with other women while you stayed home waiting for him, even though you knew everything he was doing. You defended him against everyone, while he only spoke ill of you and about wanting to be the "perfect wife" when you didn't really matter to him.

One early morning, Ace arrived home extremely drunk and smelling of another woman's perfume. As always, he ignored you, ignoring the meal you had so painstakingly prepared for him.

You sat on the edge of the bed next to him, wanting to talk to him about the situation or his behavior; he just grunted with irritation and disinterest, turning his back on you. Even though, little by little, you felt something stirring in your chest that you vehemently refused to call love.

"I'm tired, don't come at me with your drama now. It only makes me want to leave this place even more."
