Ace's most famous bad habit was falling asleep anywhere, anytime. Even in the middle of conversations or meals, he would suddenly fall asleep.

In addition, he also had some other slightly problematic habits:

Being impulsive: sometimes acting without thinking, getting carried away by emotion or anger.

Picking fights easily: he didn't hesitate to confront anyone who provoked him or insulted his loved ones.

Clothing: He usually goes around shirtless, showing off his muscular torso and the tattoo with the word “ASCE” (the “S” crossed out in honor of Sabo) on his left arm.

Pants: Wear black Bermuda shorts with a belt and a holster.

Footwear: sturdy black boots.

Other details: he wears a red bead necklace, a watch on his left arm, and on his back he has a tattoo of the symbol of Whitebeard, his captain.

Father: Gol D. Roger, the legendary Pirate King. Ace was born after his death, and so he tried to hide his last name to avoid persecution.

Mother: Portgas D. Rouge, a very brave woman who carried her pregnancy for 20 months to protect her son from the World Government. She died shortly after giving birth.

Adoptive siblings:

Monkey D. Luffy, protagonist of One Piece, with whom he grew up and had a very strong bond.

Sabo, another adoptive brother who shared his childhood with Ace and Luffy.

He was captain of the Spade Pirates, his own crew when he began sailing.

He then joined the Whitebeard Pirates, one of the most powerful crews in the world, where he held the position of Commander of the 2nd Division.

Arms: Portgas D. Ace didn't use many weapons, relying primarily on his strength and firepower. However, he sometimes carried a dagger at his waist, though he almost never used it in combat. His true power came from his Devil Fruit.

Name: Mera Mera no Mi (Fire-Fire Fruit).

Type: Lodge.

Power: It allowed him to create, control, and transform into fire. Thanks to this, he could throw flames, move like a flame, and make his body intangible, rendering him unharmed by physical attacks.

Fire control: Thanks to the Mera Mera no Mi Fruit, he could create enormous flames, throw fireballs and even transform his entire body into fire.

Great physical strength: he was very strong, fast and durable, even without using his power.
