⁶ 𝗕) 𝗕𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘩𝘢𝘮

Jude and Katy's families had known each other for years. They sometimes crossed paths at family gatherings, though they never exchanged more than a few words.

Jude Bellingham was already a football star. Katy, with long black hair, glasses, and freckles, went to some meetings because she had no other choice. Every time she saw him, he barely acknowledged her with a nod and went back to what he was doing.

"What a jerk..." Katy thought as she watched him walk by like he was standing on a lamppost. But he was just reserved and never paid her any attention.

One weekend, Katy went with her family to a game where Jude was playing. The stadium erupted when he scored the winning goal.

When the game ended, everyone expected him to celebrate with his teammates. Instead, Jude ran straight to the stands where his little sister was sitting.

"Jude!"

He smiled for the first time all afternoon, picked her up in his arms and hugged her tightly as she laughed happily.

Katy watched the scene from afar, in silence. It was strange to see him so serious with everyone else and so different with his sister.

"No wonder she never listens to me..." he muttered under his breath.

Jude laid his sister on the ground, carefully arranged her hair, and returned to the team without even noticing that Katy had been watching him.

Katy let out a small laugh.

"I still don't like him... but at least he treats his sister well."

And so they remained enemies. He paid her no attention, she watched him from afar from time to time, while their families continued to get along. Because life has that strange talent for bringing together people who would rather ignore each other, Jude walked past Katy and bumped her with his shoulder without saying a word.
