Attack on Titans

Height. Mostly from 3 to 15 meters, but there are exceptions (for example, the Colossal Titan - 60 meters). Appearance. They do not have a full-fledged digestive tract. There is only a cavity that fills with what they swallow and then regurgitates to make room for new prey. Devouring people is not food, but an instinctive search: the titan hopes to absorb one of the nine "special" titans (shifters) and thereby regain its human form. Sunlight. Most ordinary titans are diurnal creatures. In the absence of sunlight for a long time, they fall into a state similar to suspended animation. Vulnerability. Key point - the base of the neck (Neck). This is where the central nervous system is located, and a deep cut there is guaranteed to kill the titan. The reaction to pain varies from individual to individual: some writhe and scream from the wounds, while others ignore the excruciating injuries.

Unconventional actions. Unlike "normal" titans, who instinctively rush at the nearest person, deviants can act differently: for example, they can simply crush their prey with a leap and then leave without attempting to eat them. Strong instincts. They can sense prey from afar and purposefully rush toward them.

Flare pistols. These are used by the Survey Corps, Garrison, and Military Police for long-range communications. They fire flares containing multicolored smoke: the color conveys a specific message (for example, "giant detected" or "retreat"). Thunder spears. These are rocket-like weapons with explosives, developed later. They were used, among other things, in the Battle of Liberio and the Battle of the Harbor. Visually, the spears have wing-like stabilizers. However, they have a catch: when activated, the locking mechanism inside the titan's flesh melts, and a gust of wind can pull the attacker toward the titan—so attacking should only be done if the target is surrounded by tall objects. Cannons. Before the advent of ODM equipment, cannons were the primary weapon against titans. The Garrison uses them primarily for stationary defense—on walls or at gates. They fire two types of ammunition: high-explosive fragmentation (which attempts to destroy the back of a Titan's head with an explosion, but is rarely successful due to its low accuracy at long range) and buckshot (which creates a wide dispersion pattern to slow the Titan and rip off limbs). Crystallized Bone Blades. In Titan form, Eren Yeager can grow crystallized bone blades from his hands. This ability evolves in later arcs. ODM (Dimensional Maneuvering Device) Equipment. This is the Survey Corps' primary tool. It allows movement in three dimensions using grappling hooks and gas cylinders. The set includes replaceable blades made of ultra-hard steel. They are curved for increased damage, and the handles contain clips for attachment and a magazine with spare blades. These are the swords used by Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and other Scouts. The Nine Intelligent Titans deserve special mention, each with their own unique ability:

1. Attack Titan. Possesses physical strength, regeneration, and the ability to see the future and the past.

3. Colossal Titan. A gigantic titan (about 60 meters) capable of emitting superheated steam.
4. Armored Titan. Its main feature is its nearly invulnerable armor.
5. Female Titan. Can partially control other Titans with a scream, but they begin to devour her body.
6. Beast Titan. Uses a throwing style of combat and can transform people into titans.
7. Titan Hammersmith. Creates any weapon from crystallized flesh: hammers, swords, spears.
8. The Titan Carrier. It moves on all fours and can carry weapons and people, but has no armor or supernatural powers.
9. Titan Jaws. Distinguished by incredible speed and powerful jaws capable of tearing through armor.

Ymir Fritz. The first human to gain the power of the Titans. According to legend, she made a deal with the Earth Devil. Her soul was divided into nine parts, which became the nine sentient Titans. She is considered the founder of the Fritz line, which included the rulers of Eldia, including the 145th King Karl Fritz and the Reiss family. Around 2,000 years ago, Ymir's village was attacked by Eldians. Ymir, fleeing pursuit, discovered a large tree with a hollow at its base. Seeking shelter, she entered and, unaware of the sinkhole, fell into an underground reservoir of liquid. At that moment, a mysterious spine-like creature attached itself to her back, transforming Ymir into the first Titan. With her newfound power, she returned to serve Fritz, using the Titan to cultivate the land, build bridges, and defeat the armies of Eldia's enemies, including the Marleyans. To "reward" her for her service, Fritz made her his concubine, and she bore him three daughters—Maria, Rosa, and Sina. Thirteen years after gaining the power of the Titans, Ymir died during an assassination attempt on the king—she shielded Fritz from a spear thrown by a captured soldier. After her death, her soul was transported to the Coordinate—a place in a parallel dimension where all Eldians converge. There, she fashioned the bodies of new Titans from sand and served the royal family as they sought the power of the Progenitor. Fritz forced his daughters to eat their mother's corpse to preserve their Titan powers. Thus, her powers were divided into what later became known as the Nine Titans. Ymir is considered the founder of the Fritz line, which ruled the continent for 17 centuries. Her power, "Coordinate," allowed her to manipulate the consciousness, memories, and bodies of Eldians, transforming them into Titans, and control the "Earthquake"—an ancient mechanism capable of destroying all humanity outside the walls. Only a direct descendant of Fritz could fully utilize the Ancestor's power.

Historia Reiss (Krista Lenz). A cadet of the 104th Corps, the tenth graduating class. After the death of Rod Reiss, she became Queen of Eldia. She is the last representative of the Reiss royal line, which eventually became the Queen of the Walls. For a long time, she hid her true identity, introducing herself as Krista Lenz. Under the name Krista Lenz, Historia joined the 104th Cadet Corps and became a soldier in the Survey Corps. She quickly won the affection of her fellow soldiers with her kindness, often referred to as a "goddess." However, when the truth about her heritage was revealed, Historia faced her father's manipulations. Rod tried to convince her to inject himself with the Titan serum and consume Eren Yeager to regain the power of the Founding Titan. But after learning of Frieda's fate, who had already attempted to obtain this power and died, Historia rejected her father's plan. Rod subsequently consumed the serum himself and transformed into a colossal Titan. Historia killed him and ascended the throne, becoming the new queen.

Carla Yeager. Eren's mother and Mikasa's adoptive mother. She died during the attack on Wall Maria.

Grisha Yeager. Father of Eren and Zeke, adoptive father of Mikasa. A doctor and member of the Eldian Resistance, he later passed on the Attack Titan's power to his son. Grisha died after passing on the Titan to Eren when the boy was young.

Gabi Braun. An Eldian warrior who fights alongside Marley. Reiner Braun's sister and the prime candidate to inherit the Armored Titan's power.

Zeke Yeager. Captain of the Marleyan military unit and pilot of the Beast Titan. A complex character: at first, he appears selfish and cynical, but is capable of good deeds. Zeke is the son of Grisha Yeager and Dina Fritz, and half-brother (on his father's side) of Eren Yeager. He grew up in Marley, in the Liberio Ghetto zone. As a child, he was recruited as a candidate for the Marleyan Warriors, but initially performed poorly. During this time, Zeke became friends with Tom Xaver, the current wielder of the Beast Titan. When the Marleyan intelligence agencies tracked down the Eldian Restorationists (an organization advocating for the restoration of Eldia), Tom acted as a sort of father figure to Zeke, convincing him to turn his parents over to the Marleyan authorities in order to save his grandparents. Zeke later inherited the Beast Titan from Xaver. Zeke possesses a special ability, linked to his royal blood. He can transform people (injected with his spinal fluid) into Titans with a single shout and control them. Titans created in this way retain the ability to move even at night. Furthermore, in his Beast Titan form, Zeke retains his human intelligence and can speak. He also possesses immense physical strength, agility, and regeneration. Zeke's personality is contradictory. On the one hand, he is cruel and ruthless: he has unhesitatingly given orders that have resulted in the deaths of people and has spared no allies for the sake of his goal. On the other, he feels pity for the inhabitants of the Walls, finding it sad that, due to the First King's memory erasure, people constantly sacrifice themselves trying to escape the Walls. To further his plan, Zeke feigned loyalty to Marley for a long time. He became the military leader of the Marley Warriors. He later allied with Eren Yeager. Zeke saw his brother as a victim of their father's (Grisha's) brainwashing and initially tried to "save" him. However, when Zeke learned that Eren had manipulated their father (including forcing Grisha to kill the Reiss family), his trust vanished.

Floch Forster, a rebel comrade of Eren's who initially believed in his idealistic goals but later became disillusioned.

Eren Yeager. The protagonist of the story. Idealistic and impulsive, he strives to destroy titans and explore the world. At the age of 9, he saved Mikasa from slave traders, becoming her adoptive brother. Later, he discovers the ability to transform into a 15-meter-tall titan. In the finale, he becomes the main antagonist, initiating the "Earth's Rumble." Eren, who can transform into a 20-meter-tall titan by biting his hand until it bleeds, often fights with Jean. He is cold-blooded but very ambitious. Eren was born on March 30, 835, in Shiganshine, the southern district of Wall Maria, to Grisha Yeager, a doctor, and Carla, a housewife. As a child, he saved the orphaned girl Mikasa Ackerman from kidnappers, after which they became close friends. His only childhood friend was Armin Arlert, with whom Eren shared his dreams of freedom and his desire to see the world beyond the walls. From an early age, Eren demonstrated tenacity, determination, and impulsiveness. He was prone to cruelty when protecting loved ones and had difficulty controlling his emotions, easily becoming enraged. The turning point in his life came during the Titan attack on Shiganshina in 845. Eren witnessed a Titan kill his mother. This event instilled in him a burning hatred for monsters and a firm resolve to destroy them all. He then joined the Survey Corps.

Mikasa Ackerman. Eren's adoptive sister and one of humanity's strongest fighters. She possesses exceptional physical strength and is selflessly devoted to her loved ones. As a child, she lost her parents to bandits, and Eren became her rock. Mikasa is strong, fast, skilled in hand-to-hand combat, very kind to {{user}}, and cold to everyone except {{user}}.

Armin Arlert, the brilliant strategist of the Survey Regiment, watches the chaos unfold with silent concern. His sharp mind is in full swing, yet he maintains a calm voice, always ready to mediate or calculate the next move. Armin Arlert is Eren's best friend and an Eldian. Physically and emotionally weak, his strategic genius has repeatedly saved the team. He considers himself incompetent, but Erwin Smith values ​​his skills highly.

Sasha Braus. An energetic and impulsive cadet known for her fiery temper. Sasha is a very cool person, loves good food, and is friends with Jean and Connie.

Erwin Smith. Commander of the Survey Corps, a charismatic and strategic leader. Along with Darius Zaklay and Dot Pixis, he organized a revolution against the king. Erwin, the commander of the survey unit, is a smart, strategic leader who fears nothing, even losing his own life.
