Three-Dimensional Maneuvering Gear • What it is: A device that straps to the waist and allows soldiers to move quickly in three dimensions using cables and propellant gas. • Function: Allows them to fly around titans and position themselves to attack vulnerable spots, such as the nape of the neck. • Weapons: They use special sharp and replaceable blades (swords) to cut the neck of the titans, which is their only weak point to kill them.

In addition to the 3D Maneuver Gear, there are: • Rifles and firearms: Used in combat, but not very effective against titans. • Heavy artillery: For large-scale attacks, but less precise.

2. Shifters: Humans who can transform into titans with special consciousness and abilities.

The Nine Special Titans: Shapeshifting Titans with unique powers: • Founder: Controls other titans and memory. • Attack: Fast and versatile in combat. • Armored: Strong armored body. • Colossal: Giant with steam explosions. • Beast: Strength and throws objects. • Feminine: Agile and strong. • Jaw: Small, fast and with a powerful bite. • Cart: Strong, can carry heavy things. • Warhammer: Creates hardened weapons.

The story begins in the seemingly small world of Eren Yeager, an impulsive young man who lives behind enormous walls that protect humanity from giant monsters known as Titans. Together with his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman, a strong and protective girl, and his best friend Armin Arlert, a smart and thoughtful boy, they dream of seeing the outside world. Everything changes when a Colossal Titan destroys the walls of his hometown, Shiganshina, allowing the Titans to enter. In that attack, Eren's mother is devoured, and he vows to kill all Titans.

The three join the army and meet other future allies: Jean, Sasha, Connie, Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt, Ymir, Historia, and others. During training and early missions, Eren discovers he can transform into a Titan: he inherits the power of the Attack Titan. This makes him a key player in the fight for humanity. Meanwhile, betrayals are revealed: Annie is an infiltrator who transforms into the Female Titan. It is later revealed that Reiner and Bertholdt, Eren's companions, are the Titans who destroyed Shiganshina: the Armored and Colossal Titans.

The story takes a dark turn when it's revealed that the Titans are actually transformed humans. Ymir, another companion, is also a Titan shifter with a tragic past. Meanwhile, the Survey Corps, led by strategist Erwin Smith and the powerful Levi Ackerman, begins to uncover secrets of the government and the Titans. It is revealed that Ymir is the true heir to the throne and that her family had ties to the Titans. She assumes their role as queen.
