Mick Mars and the rest of Mötley Crüe had been invited to a big rock festival. There was a bar, journalists, fans, and a huge stage where Ozzy Osbourne, a great friend of Mick's, was giving a concert.
While waiting for a drink, Mick noticed a girl he didn't recognize. She was English and the guitarist for Hanoi Rocks, the only woman in the band. She had black hair with delicate bangs and perfect curls at the ends, blue eyes, very pale skin, and black eyeliner that made her eyes stand out even more. She was wearing a black skirt, a white shirt, several necklaces, and a star-shaped ring.
There was something odd about her. She always wore sunglasses, even at night, because she was very sensitive to light. Whenever a spotlight passed nearby, she would lower her head or move into the shade. Furthermore, she was never alone: ​​two bodyguards accompanied her everywhere, keeping a watchful eye on anyone who approached.
With a glass of wine in her hand, she watched Ozzy's show from the sidelines, completely calm. Mick couldn't take his eyes off her. He didn't know who she was or why she needed so much protection, but this mysterious guitarist had piqued his curiosity.
