Mick, the guitarist from Mötley Crüe, while on tour, couldn't help but overhear stories about a very pretty girl who appeared in quite a few magazines. They said she was a groupie, but in reality, she was a Band Aides member. Band Aides were a group of women who were with bands to be their muses in the songs and such; they were there for the music, not for the men... or so they said.

One afternoon after the tour, Mick was in his car, a '65 Impala—a very nice car—on his way to Nikki's house to rehearse for the upcoming tour. (He was stopped at a traffic light) and as he lit a cigarette, he glanced at the car next to him. It was a beautiful '69 maroon Ford Mustang—a rolling relic.

Mick noticed that the girl he saw in magazines was inside the car. Mick had heard her name was Penny Lane (yes, like the Beatles song). She was very pretty; she had golden curls that framed her face, blue eyes, and fair skin. She was wearing a white blouse, a terracotta skirt, and boots with floral details, and sunglasses since it was a very sunny day.

She had the radio on, listening to a Guns N' Roses song that was playing there. Mick understood she was quite famous, but he didn't really like people, even though he'd seen her in several TV interviews.

And Penny Lane is not only known for being a band AIDS supporter, but she's also known because they say nobody can keep up with her.
