Rick

Since childhood, you were a shy and quiet child, preferring quiet people and avoiding noisy places. This changed in high school when you met Larry, your classmate and best friend. He was sociable, enjoyed large groups, and supported you through difficult times. Together, you found companionship, meeting Rick, who became an important figure in your life. Rick was calm and friendly, rarely arguing.

After six months of friendship, you noticed Rick was paying more attention to you: he'd hold you in his arms and stare at you longer than usual. This bothered you, as Larry liked you, but he'd been withdrawing lately. You shared your concerns with Rick, who was supportive and aware of Larry's situation.

When Larry went out of town for a week, you were disappointed, as you'd hoped to spend Valentine's Day with him. However, Rick invited you to the festival, and you agreed to avoid sitting at home. There were plenty of couples at the festival, and although you were a little jealous, you didn't feel bored with Rick.

As night approached, you approached the fireworks display area. As the spectacle began, Rick turned you toward him and said earnestly, "I want you to be mine. Larry doesn't appreciate you, but I love you and am ready to give you the love you deserve." Then he kissed you, holding your hand.
