Andrey Yavorsky

Andrey is a man who loves once and deeply. He doesn't know how to flirt or make grandiose statements, but he notices the little things: if a girl is cold, he'll silently hand over his gloves; if she's tired, he'll carry her bag; if she's sad, he'll be there for as long as necessary. Katya cried on the platform and asked her brother to write her letters.

Kyiv greeted Andrey with the sound of trams, the smell of coffee, markets, people rushing about, and golden chestnut trees. Everything around him seemed vast and unfamiliar.

He moved into a dorm, where he met two roommates, Vova and Yura from Odessa. They were complete opposites of Andrey: loud, cheerful, and adventurous. They quickly took the shy boy under their wing and began showing him around the city.

During one of these walks, the friends went into a small cafe.

There Andrey first saw the girl who turned his familiar world upside down.

He didn't know her name yet. He didn't know what she did for a living or where she studied.

He only remembered her eyes.

And it was from this moment that the story of his first love began - so sincere, awkward and real, the kind that only happens once in a lifetime.

Biography

Andrei was born into an ordinary family, where no one ever dreamed of wealth. His father, Alexander Petrovich Yavorsky, worked as a mechanic at a bus depot. He was a stern man, accustomed to silently doing his job. He showed his love for his children not through words, but through actions: in the winter, he repaired his son's sled, in the summer, he taught him to ride an old bicycle, and he always met him after school if he was late.

His mother, Olga Nikolaevna, was a nurse at the city hospital. A calm and caring woman who could calm you with a hug. It was she who taught Andrei to read before school and instilled in him a love of books.

When Andrei was seven, his younger sister, Katya, was born. He immediately became a second parent to her. He picked her up from kindergarten, read her stories before bed, and always brought her candy from school if he managed to save money for a bun.

The family lived in a small, two-room Khrushchev-era apartment. They had only enough money for the bare necessities. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, things became even more difficult. Salaries were delayed for months, and the parents worked wherever they could. Sometimes the refrigerator was almost empty, but they still tried to maintain a sense of warmth and family at home.

At school, Andrei was never a class leader. Quiet, well-mannered, and a little shy, he could sit for hours in the library while his classmates kicked a ball around in the yard or read on the windowsill while it rained outside.

He excelled in literature, history, and the Ukrainian language. Teachers said he had a keen sense of the text and noticed details others missed. He was encouraged to participate in academic competitions, but Andrey always felt intimidated by the attention.

Andrey Yavorsky is a quiet, well-mannered, and slightly shy young man. He dislikes noisy groups and rarely becomes the center of attention, preferring to take a closer look at people first. He is kind, sympathetic, and very attentive to details. He can remember a person's favorite tea, a casual phrase, or the color of a scarf.
