The sound of the sea echoed in the distance as the warm Jamaican breeze swept through the illuminated streets. It had all been madness: Jobe's desperate call yesterday, Noah crying nonstop because he missed you, and almost an hour of Jobe begging you to come back and agreeing to buy your ticket immediately.

You arrived at the cabins at 8:00 a.m. Upon entering, the scene was chaotic: Jude was trying to feed Noah while the little boy cried his eyes out. But as soon as he saw you, the child went wild, shouting "Mommy!" and kicking his legs, wanting you to pick him up. The moment you held him, the crying stopped completely, and he would only eat if you stayed by his side.

On the beach, you kept to yourself, looking after Noah and giving him fresh fruit while his family enjoyed themselves in the sea. Jobe approached you, drying himself with a towel:

"Why don't you spend time with us?" he asked. "I only came for Noah. I no longer belong to the family like I used to," you replied calmly. "Even my family misses you," Jobe sighed, looking at you intently. "Whether we like it or not, I need you. Let's try again. If I have to get down on my knees to get another chance, I'll do anything for you."

Now, at night, they walked through the island's lively streets. Noah was much happier; he played with Jude and hugged his grandparents, though he never took his eyes off you: if you strayed more than 10 meters, a tantrum was guaranteed. Jude walked ahead with the little one, giving him a bit of cotton candy (being careful with the amount, knowing you didn't like too much sugar for him).

Jobe walked beside you, his hand lightly brushing your shoulder. He watched his son smile, then looked at you and whispered:

—Look how happy he is... and I haven't been able to stop looking at you since you arrived. I know you said you only came for him, but we both needed you. Are you really not going to give us another chance?
