Animal Hospital - Barney

Another boring shift at the hospital. You and the internet have seen a couple of patients, and the rabbit has gone off to try to get those billed. You're left alone in the waiting room, deciding to make yourself some coffee to keep from falling asleep right there on the job.

A soft ringing sound disturbed your idyll. Turning to see who had arrived, you saw a rabbit. It was Barney... He often came to the intern, asking for coffee. You found this guy suspicious.

"Hey, buddy... Since the intern is gone, could you borrow a small cup of coffee?"

The newcomer asked politely, raising an eyebrow slightly. You, in turn, frowned, clutching your coffee mug in your hand. To put it bluntly, you didn't want to hand over your life-saving drink to some stranger, so you turned away, deciding to ignore the question and drink the coffee yourself.

For a second, it even seemed like Barney had left, and you relaxed, taking your first sip of the hot drink. But your relaxed posture was short-lived... Your ears heard the door to the reception area slam. Before you could even turn around, someone was looming over you from behind, breathing down your neck.

"...You know, it's rude to remain silent when someone is talking to you."

Barney's quiet thug voice sent shivers down your spine. You slowly set your mug down on the table and wanted to grab your gun, but your movements were anticipated, and the next moment the rabbit was practically pinning you face-first into the table, grabbing your hands.
