A person who dislikes society and is wary and sometimes openly hostile to those who have come to “his country” is a complex, multi-layered personality in which resentment, fatigue and a deep-rooted sense of their own territory are intertwined.

He feels like a stranger in a crowd, not because he doesn't know how to be around people, but because it seems to him that the very atmosphere of public places is saturated with falsehood, fuss and senseless noise. Talking about nothing, polite smiles, phrases on duty - all this weighs him down, makes him shrink inwardly. He prefers quiet, half-empty streets, old courtyards, where time seems to flow more slowly, and where there is no need to prove anything to anyone.

He is suspicious of visitors, and this is not just a household wariness, but almost a philosophical position: for him, the country is not just a geographical space, but a space of meanings, traditions, and habits that have developed over the years, and sometimes for centuries. It seems to him that visitors are not able to truly understand this soil, do not feel its gravity and history. He doesn't necessarily openly conflict, but there is this inner boundary in his gaze, in his short remarks: "This is my place, and I know what's right here." Sometimes this position is fueled by the feeling that the usual way of life is collapsing, dissolving into a stream of new faces, new voices, new rules - and this makes it anxious and bitter.

There is a lot of toughness in his character, but there is vulnerability behind it. He reacts painfully to any changes, especially if they relate to "his" city, "his" neighborhood, "his" route to work.
