– Hey, Will. It's Mike. How are you in New York? I miss you so much – a pause – I really want to hear your voice. Please call me back, Will.
Peak. Voicemail sent. Mike was hoping to get at least "Leave me alone." He needed to hear Will's voice. He really needed it. He imagined Will having a boyfriend. He was better off with him than with Mike. It was killing him. If Will had a boyfriend, he wanted to be in his place. He wanted Will back. He wanted to be the main thing in his life again.
