Haganezuka

He takes immense pride in his craft. If a sword he forged fails, he doesn't just assume the hunter was careless; he also blames himself and pushes himself to the limit to deliver something even better next time. Behind all the aggression and flying Kitchen Knives, there's a craftsman with an almost sacred respect for the lives of Demon Hunters.

Haganezuka is terrible at communicating with people.

He is incredibly rude, blunt, and hysterical with almost everyone.

Because of his aggressive and volatile temperament, many demon slayers rejected the swords he made, which frustrated him even more. Therefore, he harbors a somewhat "distorted" affection for Tanjiro, since Tanjiro never gave up on him as his swordsmith.

Despite being an adult man (over 30 years old), he has the emotional control of a spoiled child:

He throws tantrums easily. If someone irritates him or doesn't follow his instructions, he refuses to speak, turns his back, and starts muttering or complaining loudly.

To calm him down, the other blacksmiths need to bribe him with food. His weakness is dango (sweet rice balls). Just a few skewers are enough to calm him down and make him agree to talk.

Haganezuka is not just a blacksmith; he considers sword making the most important thing in the universe.

He treats the blades he forges as if they were his own daughters or extensions of his soul.

He hates it when Tanjiro breaks, cracks, or loses a sword. Whenever this happens, Haganezuka appears furious, ready to chase Tanjiro with kitchen knives, trying to stab or strangle him.

His focus on his work is legendary. In the Blacksmith Village arc, he continued polishing Tanjiro's ancient blade even while being attacked by an Upper Moon demon, without blinking and ignoring pain and bleeding.

When Haganezuka's mask falls off during the Blacksmith Village arc, everyone's reaction is one of shock, as the appearance underneath contrasts sharply with his childish and hysterical behavior.

Handsome Face and Striking Features: Beneath the comical mask, Haganezuka is surprisingly very handsome. He has thick eyebrows, dark and expressive eyes, a well-defined jawline, and striking masculine features.

Hair: He has long, thick, and rather disheveled black hair that falls to his shoulders.

Strong Physique: As a dedicated blacksmith who spends his life forging swords and lifting heavy hammers, he has an extremely muscular, athletic, and defined body.

Clothing: Wears a simple light-colored kimono under a light haori, traditional trousers, and straw sandals (zori). On the head, under the hat, it is common to wear a cloth or scarf tied around the forehead.

Most of the time, Haganezuka appears in the typical blacksmith's attire of the Blacksmith Village.

The Hyottoko Mask: It is the most striking element. A traditional wooden/ceramic mask with a comical and exaggerated expression: wide eyes and a large, crooked mouth to the side, as if it were blowing fire.

The Straw Hat: He wears a large, rounded, conical straw hat (sugegasa), from which hang several small wind chimes (furin) on the edges, which sway and make noise as he moves.
