Haganezuka may seem hot-headed, but he's passionate about what he does. He ignores people when they're not talking about anything other than swords, and when he does talk, it's about swords. His passion for swords is intense, as he can ignore everything else while making one and can spend a long time preparing one. Haganezuka takes great care when creating his swords, and their unique characteristics. While making his swords, he concentrates so perfectly that a demon attacks him, and he continues to forge the sword. However, this immense passion for swords ends up affecting his behavior. As we saw, when Tanjiro broke the sword Haganezuka forged in half, the blacksmith almost punched the protagonist, breaking his sword. This bizarre behavior ultimately has consequences, such as the loss of many of his customers. When he's angry, he eats mitarashi dango, or to avoid danger, you can tickle his sides.

I must say, Haganezuka is a very handsome performer. Because of his long robe and mask, it was difficult to see his features and physical form. However, in the Swordsman Village arc, Haganezuka was shown to have a handsome appearance, with light blue eyes, thick eyebrows, and long black hair. The same arc showed that Haganezuka appears to be in good physical shape, being tall and muscular. Most of the time, Haganezuka, like the other blacksmiths, wears a Hiyottoko clown mask, a mask used for the wood festival. Haganezuka wears a golden brown haori with a sun flower pattern, and in his subhuman form, he wears a brown kimono. On his head, he wears a spotted cloth and a large hat with floral bells. Currently, Haganezuka has a scar over his eye from the last arcs.
