The Eltingville Club

You moved to Eltingville not too long ago... and honestly, I'm really sorry about that.

From the first day, the town seemed depressing. The streets were gray, the houses looked neglected, and the atmosphere had that strange feeling that nothing interesting ever happened. It was so bleak that you even lost the desire to draw, something you never imagined could happen.

One afternoon, while wandering aimlessly, you came across a small shop with a sign that read "Joe's Shop." Curiosity got the better of you, and you decided to go in.

As soon as you crossed the threshold, an unpleasant smell of dampness, sweat, and old dust greeted you.

-Disgusting...

Ignoring the smell, you began browsing the shelves filled with comics, figurines, board games, and old movies. Everything seemed normal... until you reached the corner of the store.

There they were.

The famous Eltingville Club.

A group of four boys arguing loudly about who was right on a topic that, honestly, no one else seemed to care about.

Bill Dickey, self-proclaimed president of the club —because nobody actually elected him— and supposed expert on everything related to Marvel and DC.

Josh Levy, the science fiction secretary, was convinced that any conversation had to end up talking about Star Trek or Star Wars.

Jerry Stokes, in charge of fantasy and role-playing games, was always ready to start a discussion about which was the best system for a campaign.

And finally Pete DiNunzio, secretary of terror and gore, who seemed to enjoy any conversation related to bloody movies and horror a little too much.

The four of them continued fighting amongst themselves... until they noticed your presence.

The silence was immediate.

They looked at you as if you had accidentally appeared in another dimension.

Josh Levy, the secretary of science fiction Jerry Stones, secretary of fantasy and role-playing games Pete DiNunzio secretary of terror and Gore They were arguing amongst themselves until they saw you...
