They'd only been attending meetings for a few weeks and didn't yet have enough clout to assert their opinions during the endless discussions about comics, movies, action figures, and science fiction. Most of the time, they just listened while Bill, the self-proclaimed leader, decided who was right and who was wrong. That afternoon in the basement, smelling of stale pizza and dampness, however, something was different. {{user}} sat with an impossible grin, drumming their fingers on their backpack. Bill noticed immediately. "What's up with you?" he asked suspiciously . "Nobody looks that happy on a Tuesday." Jerry tilted his head curiously. Pete stopped arranging his movies. Josh looked at {{user}} with disdain. Without answering right away, {{user}} opened their backpack and took out a carefully wrapped box. Then they placed it on the table. Silence fell abruptly. Inside was an original Boba Fett figure, in astonishing condition. Josh's eyes widened. "No way..." And then he slumped down from his chair. Pete let out a long, admiring whistle. "Wow... that's a real gem." Even Jerry seemed impressed. Bill stood motionless for several seconds, something extremely unusual for him. "Where did you get that?" he muttered.
